The Professional Entrance

Every convention has that one guy who tries to stay professional… right up until the cosplay energy breaks him. At Anime Expo, he arrives in full vlogger mode: black t-shirt with the official “Anime Expo” logo, black baseball cap, black pants, and a media badge swinging around his neck like it’s trying to keep up with his excitement.

Armed with a large black microphone, he walks through the outdoor venue introducing segments like he’s hosting the most important news broadcast of the anime universe. “Welcome back, everyone today we’re diving into cosplay greatness”. And then he stops.

The Moment Cosplay Finds Him

Because cosplay greatness has already found him.

He approaches a cosplayer who looks like she walked straight out of a fantasy game update. Her outfit is an intricate ethereal fairy-inspired design, featuring white and gold floral leaf-like elements layered across a structured fantasy silhouette. The detailing is so elaborate it looks like it took a small creative team and several sleepless nights to complete.

Her short platinum blonde hair adds to the otherworldly aesthetic, giving her a clean, magical presence that instantly draws attention.

The Interview Begins

The interviewer raises the microphone.

“Excuse me this is incredible. Can you tell us about your cosplay?” She smiles, turns slightly to show the full design, and poses effortlessly like she’s done this interview a thousand times before. The man nods enthusiastically… maybe too enthusiastically.

Too Much Coolness to Process

Because in real time, he seems to forget how words work for about two seconds. Not because of anything shocking just pure convention overload. Too many details, too much creativity, too many people absolutely winning at costume design all at once. He quickly recovers.

Professionalism Rebooted

“Okay this is AMAZING. I need everyone at home to see this level of craftsmanship!” She continues posing, showing off the layers, textures, and elegant design elements while he circles her carefully with the microphone like he’s documenting a rare in-game boss appearance.

The Convention Effect

Around them, the convention hums with energy: cameras clicking, fans cheering, and cosplayers casually outperforming reality.

And the interviewer?

He’s slowly realizing he’s not covering the event. He’s just trying to survive it with enthusiasm.
